Talisker – Port Ruighe

Talisker Port Ruighe is a single malt from the Islands, matured twice in port casks. The port influence shows in the finish, where the salty character of the whisky meets the sweetness of red fruit. Sweet smokiness and the full fruitiness of ripe plums run alongside it. It is medium in body, with a smoky, salty taste. Spicy pepper gives way to peat, while creamy smoke mixes with spices and dark fruit. The finish is long, with intense cocoa and a smoky dryness.
