Talisker Port Ruighe is a single malt at 45.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Talisker is the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, in the Hebrides, standing near the village of Carbost beneath the Cuillin hills. Two local brothers, Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill, founded it in 1830.
This bottling is finished in port casks. The whisky is wild, peppery and peaty, with some chocolate, ginger and raisin to be found in it.
