This is a single cask Tamdhu from a sherry butt, numbered 2464. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 by Berry Bros. & Rudd at a cask strength of 62.9% ABV, giving a ten year old whisky. The outturn was 643 bottles of 70cl, without added colouring or chill filtration.
The nose combines dried apricot and honey with sweet caramel. The palate is full, with oak and spice framing subtle fruit. The finish is long, warming and spicy, with vanilla lingering at the end.
