Tamdhu 12 Years Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, from a distillery whose whiskies are known for maturation in ex-sherry casks.
Tamdhu was closed and reopened several times through the twentieth century, and closed again in 2010. In 2011 it was taken over by the independent bottler and family company Ian Macleod, and production started again in 2012.
The distillery's whiskies are described as traditional Speyside malts of a kind that has become uncommon today.
