Tamdhu 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt launched in 2025. It was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, a mix of first-fill and refill, rather than being given a sherry finish.
It won Gold in the 18 Years and Over category at the 2026 Spirit of Speyside Whisky Awards and was named Overall Winner. The casks bring dried fruits, chocolate and spice, balancing fruity sweetness with oak influence.
The nose offers sherried oak, chocolate, sultanas and toffee, with cinnamon porridge oats, mocha and marzipan. The palate has rich Christmas cake, sherry-soaked raisins and candied oranges. The finish is long and smooth, ending in syrupy fruit sweetness.
