Tamdhu Ámbar is a Speyside single malt from the 2009 vintage, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured exclusively in sherry oak casks.
The nose recalls Christmas cake, with vanilla butter biscuits alongside and a touch of warm sherry oak. On the palate are summer fruits with lemon zest and butterscotch. The finish carries sherry oak that builds on itself before giving way to dried figs.
