Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 6 is a single malt bottled at 56.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Tamdhu matures its whisky exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, and for this batch the casks were hand-selected, with a high proportion of them first-fill.
Its deep copper colour comes from the cask alone.
The nose has oak, roasted nuts and vanilla. The palate recalls summer berry pudding with custard, and with a dash of water it opens up to orange, lemon and oak spice.
