Tamdhu – Quatro Reserva (70cl, 41.2%)

Quatro Reserva is a Speyside single malt from Tamdhu, bottled at 41.2% in a 70cl bottle. It was first released for travel retail. The whisky matured in four styles of sherry oak casks, both first fill and refill, in keeping with the distillery's reputation for sherry-matured bottlings. The nose is fine, with vanilla, apple, dried fruit and flowers. The palate has an oily texture and soft flavours of caramel, almond, dried fruit and vanilla. The finish is medium in length, with a touch of oak.
