Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port 2018 (75cl)

Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port 2018 is a vintage port built mainly on fruit from two vineyards, Quinta de Vargellas and Quinta de Terra Feita. It is opaque black at the centre with a narrow purple rim, and is described by the house as elegant and precise. The nose is reserved, with fine, linear fruit held in check by a graphite minerality. Quinta da Vargellas gives its signature violets, alongside citrus, wild herbs and gum cistus. On the palate, lithe, muscular tannins are firm and grippy, and the wine ends with a surge of crisp, pure berry fruit.
