An 18 year old Irish single malt from Teeling, part of the limited Renaissance series, which marks the revival of Teeling, Dublin and Irish whiskey. It is bottled at 46% and is non-chill-filtered.
The whiskey is matured first in bourbon casks and then finished in a range of wine casks.
The nose shows ripe fig, orange peel and vanilla, with gentle spice and toffee emerging over time. The palate is smooth and rich, with peach, dried fruit and a little cinnamon. The finish is long, with a light spiciness, dried fruit sweetness and soft wood.
