Teeling – 6 Years 2016 Portuguese Virgin Oak Cask 12600 Man's World

This is a six-year-old Irish single malt from Teeling, distilled in 2016 at the new Teeling Distillery in Dublin. It matured until February 2022 in cask 12600, a new Portuguese oak cask. It was bottled for the Man's World exhibition in Zurich at cask strength and without chill-filtration, in an outturn of 300 bottles. The nose is citrus and cloves with a spicy, woody scent. The palate has roasted oak and fresh apricot jam, with black pepper and nutmeg. The finish is medium in length and warming, peppery, with vanilla and malty sweetness.
