Black Pitts Peated is an Irish whiskey from Teeling, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It is made with peat from Glenesk in Speyside and matured for four years, leaving a peat level of 15 PPM. Maturation took place in ex-bourbon casks and in ex-Sauternes casks, which previously held a sweet white wine.
The palate brings light pepper and yellow fruit, with campfire smoke, salted caramel and dark chocolate.
