Teeling Blackpitts is a peated Irish whisky from the Teeling Distillery in Dublin. This cask strength version is bottled at 56.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured fully in ex-bourbon casks. Tasting notes describe a smoky, earthy nose like a bonfire, with orchard fruit and maple syrup. The palate brings grilled apple and pear alongside peat smoke, salt and lavender. The finish is long, with smoke and wood.
