Teeling – Blackpitts (46%)

Teeling Blackpitts is an Irish single malt bottled at 46%. It is the Dublin distillery's first peated single malt, named after a historic district of the city once home to many malting houses. It is triple distilled and matured in ex-Sauternes and ex-bourbon casks, with peat shaping the aroma profile. On the nose, barbecue smoke mingles with honey and grilled pineapple. The palate is rich, with poached pear and salted butter caramel, and the finish carries a delicate smoke like a fireplace hearth.
