Teeling – Blackpitts Peated Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Teeling Blackpitts is a peated Irish single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Its name comes from the Blackpitts area of Dublin, once home to some of the city's best-known breweries and distilleries, and to old malting yards. It is made from 100% peated malted barley, triple distilled, and matured in ex-bourbon and Sauternes wine casks. It is non-chill filtered. The nose offers soft campfire smoke with grilled pineapple, honey and vanilla. On the palate, sweet smoke meets orchard fruits, citrus zest, toffee, cloves and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with sweet spice and charred fruit.
