Teeling – Brabazon Bottling Series 02 (70cl, 49.5%)

The second release in Teeling's Brabazon series, an Irish whiskey from Dublin bottled at 49.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured exclusively in ex-Port pipes from a family-run Portuguese winery, and bottled non-chill filtered. The series takes its name from the Brabazon family, former rulers of the Liberties area of Dublin where Teeling now stands. The nose offers red berries, plums, dried figs and raisins. The palate is full-bodied and jammy, with dark fruits, spiced cherries, cocoa and a hint of leather. The finish is long and slightly tannic, with blackcurrant and nutmeg.
