This is a 12 year old Irish single malt from Teeling, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is Volume V, the final release in the Revival Series.
The whiskey was aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Cognac casks.
The nose has spiced apple crumble, soft citrus and honeycomb. The palate brings baked peaches, buttery pastry and candied orange peel, with white pepper and oak spice. The finish is long and honeyed, with a slightly herbal note.
