Teeling Rising Reserve 21 Year Old is a single malt Irish whiskey from Dublin, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is a limited edition within Teeling's Rising Reserve series.
The whiskey was first aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then re-casked in Carcavelos white port casks for its finish.
The nose brings dried orchard fruit, like warm pear crumble with citrus zest, along with clove, beeswax and aged wood. The palate is creamy, with honeyed malt, apricot, toasted almonds and subtle spice. The finish is long, with vanilla, gentle oak tannins, ginger and white pepper.
