Teeling – Single Grain 13 Years (70cl, 50%)

Teeling Single Grain 13 Years is an Irish grain whiskey from a single distillery, matured and bottled at Teeling Distillery. It is made from 95% maize and 5% malted barley and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey spent nine years in ex-bourbon casks and a further four in ex-red wine casks from Bordeaux. The nose offers rosewater, ripe cherries, cinnamon and red fruit. On the palate come summer fruit, berry compote, vanilla custard, sweet apples and pears, and touches of honey. The finish brings spices, tannin and toasted oak.
