Teeling Single Malt is an Irish single malt from Dublin, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted Irish barley and distilled in copper pot stills.
The whiskey is matured in a combination of bourbon, Madeira and virgin oak casks. Teeling is described as Ireland's oldest family-owned distillery, dating from 1782.
The nose is bright, with apple, pear, tropical notes, honey, gentle spice and a hint of oaked custard. The palate shows vanilla, ripe peach, cinnamon, toasted malt and a light waxy texture, ending in citrus zest. The finish is long, with fruit sweetness, spice and gentle oak.
