Teeling Single Malt is an Irish whiskey made from 100% malted barley, and it includes some whiskey distilled in 1991. It completes the brand's Premium range of non-age statement bottlings and comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in five types of wine cask: sherry, port, madeira, white burgundy and cabernet sauvignon. It is bottled at 46% without chill filtration.
The nose offers fresh melon, ripe figs, buttery toffee and lemon peel. The palate has dried fruits, citrus, creamy vanilla, spice and cloves. The finish is long, with sweetness meeting dry tannins from the wine casks.
