Teeling – Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Teeling Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey distilled entirely in Dublin, a first for the city in nearly half a century. It is made from a mash of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley, in the style of a traditional Dublin mash bill. This bottle is from the third batch release. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring. The nose offers bourbon vanilla, stewed orchard fruits, pot still spice, dried herbs and leather. The palate is creamy, with toasted barley, latte, salted caramel and dark fruit. The finish turns to darker chocolate and coffee, with stone fruit and spearmint.
