Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Teeling Small Batch is a blended Irish whiskey from Teeling Whiskey Distillery in the Liberties, Dublin, and was the first release from brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling. It is triple distilled, non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. The blend is grain-led, with malt whiskey, and is aged first in ex-bourbon barrels. It is then married for up to twelve months in Central American rum casks, which add dried fruit and vanilla. It won Best Blended Irish Whiskey at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2015. The nose is floral and herbal, with vanilla, rum-raisin and allspice. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, raisin, apricot and warming spice, and the finish is long, with lingering sweetness, spice and oak.
