Teeling Stout Cask is an Irish blended whiskey, made as a collaboration between Teeling Whiskey and the Galway Bay Brewery. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration.
The whiskey first matures in bourbon casks, then is finished in barrels that previously held Galway Bay's 200 Fathoms Imperial Stout.
The nose brings roasted coffee, milk chocolate and toasted barley, with dark fruit and cream soda. The palate is smooth and malty, with cocoa nibs, toffee, nutmeg and a hint of hoppy bitterness. The finish is long and warming, with spice, mocha and malt.
