Teeling Wonders of Wood #2 is a limited edition Irish single pot still whiskey, bottled at 50%. It is the second release in a series that explores how wood shapes a spirit. For this edition the whiskey was matured in virgin Portuguese oak. The nose is typically described as toasted oak and marmalade, backed by pepper and a little spice. The palate is broad and rich, following the nose, and the finish is long and woody, with nutmeg.
