Teeling – 'Wonders of Wood' Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (75cl)

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Teeling, the first edition in the Wonders of Wood series. It comes from a mash of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley, triple distilled at the Teeling distillery in Dublin, and is sold in a 750ml bottle. It is fully matured in virgin Chinkapin American white oak casks. The series sets out to push the boundaries of flavour by using unusual styles of wood for maturation. The series is run in partnership with the Tree Council of Ireland and will help plant native Irish trees on a dedicated acre in the Wicklow area.
