Teeling – Wonders of Wood Virgin Carpathian Oak (Fourth Edition) (70cl, 50%)

The fourth edition in Teeling's Wonders of Wood series, a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whiskey is made from malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled, and matured in new Carpathian oak casks. On the nose there is rosewater, candied fruit and freshly cut wood. The palate is robust and spicy, softened by apple, pear and sandalwood. The finish is clean, with hints of puff pastry and campfire smoke.
