Tenjaku Blended Whisky is a Japanese blend of malt and grain whisky from Fuefuki Distillery in Yamanashi Prefecture, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was assembled by master blender Kenji Watanabe from Japanese and imported distillates matured in American white oak barrels.
Soft volcanic spring water from the region is credited with its smooth texture and clean finish.
The nose is soft, with orchard fruits, floral honey, toasted almond and vanilla. The palate brings apple, barley sugar, light caramel and lemon zest, with grain sweetness and gentle oak spice.
