Tenjaku is a Japanese blended whisky, made from both grain and malt whiskies and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled in Yamanashi.
The blend uses mineral-rich spring water from volcanic rock near Mt. Fuji, and it is aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose is light, with soft pear, white peach and a little floral grain. The palate is smooth and gently sweet, with mild fruit, malt and a touch of spice. The finish is clean and crisp, with a hint of oak and smoke.
