A Balblair single malt bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company at 11 years old and 45.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is one of the independent bottler's limited Label Editions, which celebrate the label designs of Emily Chappell.
The whisky was finished in a first-fill bourbon barrel. The label shows a character from the original Boutique-y Balblair label, which drew on the film 'The Angel's Share', shot at the distillery.
The nose is fruity and tropical, with banana bread, vanilla custard and Tarte Tatin. The palate is sweet and creamy, with white chocolate and cinnamon, and the finish brings creamy vanilla, soft fruit and a pinch of pepper.
