That Boutique-y Whisky Company Langatun 6 Year Old Batch 2 (49.5%)

This is batch 2 of Langatun, a Swiss single malt matured for six years and bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company at 49.5%. It is a release of 659 bottles, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The label shows the path the cask took, from America to Spain, then Switzerland and finally England. The nose offers oily nuts, almonds and salted dark chocolate, with wood, buttery caramel and peppery spice. On the palate come toasted nuts, toffee, sweet cereal and fresh summer fruit. The finish is lingering, with melted dark chocolate and then floral malt.
