The Balvenie 12 Years Golden Cask is an official Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from The Balvenie Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 43% abv.
It matured for 12 years in an ex-bourbon cask and was then finished in a former rum cask.
The nose is fine, with honey, toffee, orange, apricot and wood. The palate is round, with vanilla, wood, apple, honey, pastry and oak. The finish is slightly sweet, with accents of wood and spice.
