The Balvenie Peat Week is a 14 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 48.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is one of the first Balvenie expressions made from 100% peated barley, produced for just one week each year since 2002. The spirit for this batch was matured entirely in American oak casks. The nose is floral, with tropical fruit, almonds and honey before the peat smoke arrives. The palate is citrus-led, with vanilla, peach and honey and a gentle, floral peat smoke. The finish is long and soft, with a lingering creaminess.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
