The Balvenie 18 Years Old Pedro Ximénez Cask is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 48.7% in a 70cl bottle.
After its long maturation the whisky was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which add depth and a fruity sweetness.
The nose brings raisins, figs, honey and dark caramel, with light vanilla and spicy oak. The palate is velvety and full, with dried fruit, chocolate, roasted nuts and a sweet sherry sauce character. The finish is long and soft, with lingering spice, oak and dark fruit.
