A 19-year-old single malt from The Balvenie, matured only in casks that previously held sherry. It is the ninth edition in the Stories range and is called A Revelation of Cask and Character.
The release pays tribute to the distillery's coopers, who build or rebuild each cask in use. Their team is led by Ian McDonald, who has been at The Balvenie for more than 54 years.
It is described as rich and complex, with a long finish.
