The Balvenie Portwood is a 21 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Its extra maturation took place in Port casks that were themselves 30 years old, which gives the whisky added depth and complexity.
It is described as rich and concentrated in flavour, and as smooth, silky and elegant.
