The Balvenie 25 Years Old Rare Casks is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for 25 years and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is soft and honeyed, with gentle oak and candied orange peel. On the palate, bold vanilla and oak open the way, then fade slowly to reveal toasted marshmallow, a fresh fruit terrine and cinnamon-infused apple tart. The finish is exceptionally long and sweet.
