This is a 30 year old single malt from Balvenie, bottled in a 70cl bottle and made in Speyside. It was created by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE.
The whisky is matured in two types of cask, American oak and European oak, each aged for decades. David Stewart pioneered this approach of marrying the two in 1983 with The Balvenie Classic.
It is described as having honeyed malt, dried fruit and subtle spice, with a smooth, lingering finish.
