The Balvenie 30 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 47.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle that comes in a box.
The nose is soft and silky, markedly honeyed, with gentle oak and delicate candied orange peel. The palate has real depth, with rich dark chocolate followed by prune, sweet marzipan and caramelised pear, in a dense, oily texture. The finish is very smooth, long and warm, leaving lasting sweetness with soft spice and light tannins from the oak.
