The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Dufftown, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It spent fourteen years in traditional oak whisky casks before a finish in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. William Grant founded the distillery in 1892.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with toffee and fresh fruit. The palate is smooth, with vanilla, sweet oak and juicy fruit, and the rum finish adds depth and tropical warmth. The finish is soft, creamy and lingering, with gentle sweetness.
