A 12 year old single malt from Balvenie, bottled at 40%.
The whisky is matured first in traditional oak casks and then finished in sherry casks, a double maturation that gives it its name. It has a warm amber colour.
The nose offers dried fruit, spice, vanilla and a hint of honey. The palate is silky, with nuts, spiced cake, orange peel and a subtle sherry sweetness. The finish is long, gentle and harmonious.
