The Balvenie Doublewood 12 is a Scotch single malt aged for twelve years, matured in both traditional bourbon oak casks and Spanish sherry oak casks.
The nose pairs sweet fruit with Oloroso sherry, alongside honey and vanilla. The palate is smooth and rich, with sweet nuts, a little cinnamon spice and a delicate sherry character.
The finish is long and rich, leaving a lasting warmth.
