The Creation of a Classic is a limited Balvenie single malt from the Balvenie Stories series. It tells the story of Malt Master David Stewart, and carries the label of The Original Cask Finish. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 43%.
The whisky was matured in ex-American oak casks and ex-Oloroso sherry butts.
The nose has peach, orange, vanilla, malt, sandalwood and gentle spices. The palate is creamy, balancing fruit and spice with caramel, oak, vanilla and sherry. The finish is medium in length, with orange and oak.
