The Borders WS:02 The Long & the Short of It is a blended Scotch whisky at 40%, the second edition in the Workshop series.
Fermentation shapes the flavour of the new spirit, and here two approaches were tried: a short fermentation of 55 hours and a long one of 150 hours. Both types were matured in first fill bourbon barrels before being blended with single grain.
