The Busker Single Malt is an Irish single malt made at the Royal Oak Distillery in County Carlow. It is triple distilled from 100 percent Irish malted barley, is not peated, and comes in a 750ml bottle at 44.3% ABV (88.6 proof).
The whiskey is matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, which gives it a fruit-forward profile with sweetness and spice.
On the nose there is fresh orchard fruit, honey, vanilla and a little toasted oak. The palate brings dried apricot, caramel, baking spice and creamy malt sweetness, leading to a medium to long finish of lingering fruit, soft spice and gentle oak warmth.
