The Cairn CRN57 18 Year Old is a blended malt in a 70cl bottle, created by Gordon & MacPhail to show what is to come from its new Highland distillery, The Cairn. It aims to capture the character of the Cairngorms.
The nose combines crisp apples, blueberries and candied citrus peel with raisins and toasted almonds under brown sugar. The palate brings banana, milk chocolate and hazelnut, then strawberries and cream with a touch of spice. The finish is fresh lime, mint and a hint of pepper.
