The Campbeltown Connection 2025 is a blended malt from North Star Spirits, bringing together Springbank from 1994 and 2015 with Glen Scotia from 1992. It is bottled at a cask strength of 50.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The blend draws on first fill and refill bourbon hogsheads. The youngest whisky in it was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025, at ten years old. The edition ran to 1,554 bottles.
The nose shows salted caramel, leather, dried fruit and a light citrus freshness. The palate is oily and spicy with a maritime note, a little peat, oak, restrained sweetness and buttery shortbread. The finish is long, salty and spicy, dry and elegant, with a little peat.
