The Chita Single Grain Distiller's Reserve

The Chita Single Grain Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single grain whisky made at Suntory's Chita Distillery, on the Chita Peninsula. The distillery specialises in grain whisky, which usually goes into Suntory's blends, and here it is bottled on its own. The nose is light, with honey, vanilla and fresh citrus, plus subtle floral and cereal notes. On the palate it is silky and gentle, with sweet vanilla, honey, citrus, soft fruit and delicate oak. The finish is clean, with lingering sweetness, vanilla, citrus and a touch of oak.
