The Dalmore 12 Years Old is a single Highland malt Scotch whisky, distilled, aged and bottled in Scotland by The Dalmore Distillery. This bottle holds one litre and is bottled at 43% ABV.
The nose is dense with dates, dried figs, prunes and bitter orange marmalade, with finer hints of wax, leather and old books, alongside toasted caramel, vanilla and a clear note of cinnamon. The palate is thick, rich and oily, with dark chocolate, espresso, burnt toffee, Oloroso sherry, roasted nuts and candied orange. The finish runs medium to long, with cocoa powder, nuts, fine wood and a touch of spicy cinnamon.
