The Dalmore 12 Years Old is a Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky from the Dalmore Distillery, bottled at 43% in a 333ml bottle.
The nose is fragrant and herbal, with pronounced waxy notes, bitter orange marmalade and pine resin, then sultanas, figs, chestnut honey, black tea and roasted apple. The palate is creamy, oily and coating, with mature sherry, dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, a herbal bitterness of liquorice and distant peat smoke. The finish is medium to long and dry, with cocoa powder, caramelised citrus marmalade and a warming spice.
